Job Description

The Biddable Manager will work alongside and support the Head of Customer Acquisition and be responsible for marketing activities including the creation of paid social media campaigns and optimising existing PPC accounts. This involves reporting, sourcing & testing creatives, keyword research and optimisation audits to deliver best in class acquisition campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to work in house for a leading online retailer within a diverse marketing position and would suit someone looking to make use of their agency experience whilst learning about the wider marketing mix.

 

 

Things you’ll be doing:

 

  • Plan, execute, and deliver biddable media campaigns working towards new customer targets for both Social (Paid) and PPC
  • Creating Social media campaigns to drive new customer acquisition within a target CPA
  • Testing different ad formats and acquisition journeys to generate best possible revenue per lead
  • Monitoring competitors and price testing to ensure we are competitive in every market
  • Liaising with in-house copywriters to produce localised ads in our EU markets
  • Leveraging our Google & Facebook account teams to ensure our paid activity is best in class and we are up to date with industry changes
  • Optimising existing PPC accounts, keyword research, ad copy & landing page testing
  • Identifying gaps in the market and opportunities to attract new customers to Vision Direct
  • Analysing and reporting on campaign performance to provide insight for future content and campaigns
  • Briefing the in-house design team for creatives to improve performance
  • Assisting with ad-hoc marketing activities e.g. competitor analysis, market research and supporting large marketing campaigns where possible
  • Liaising with video agencies to provide engaging video creatives that are optimised for social media use
  • Audit and solving tracking issues, with the help of the technical team, to ensure accurate measurement of campaign performance
  • Budget management – handling large monthly budgets and moving spend to the best performing channels and campaigns based on LTV.

Experience/skills you’ll need to have:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 2+ Years hands on experience creating Paid Social and PPC campaigns
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable with large data sets
  • Strong web analytics experience (GA)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Keen problem solver
  • Knowledge of e-commerce and best practices
  • Clear and concise communication with strong writing skills
  • Understanding of social platforms and the key differences between them

  • More than one language
